What is a caravan mover?

Caravan movers, or motor movers are a very useful bit of kit which, in a nutshell allows you to control your caravan via remote control. This makes your life much easier in a wide variety of scenarios as a motor mover allows you to manoeuvre your caravan into position without the use of car or you having to push it.

A motor mover works by adding 2 or more electric motors your caravan which can be manually or automatically ‘engaged’ to the wheel of your van. Engaging a caravan mover moves the rollers that are attached to the motors onto the wheels. Once the rollers are engaged onto the wheel of the caravan, the motor mover can be used to drive the wheels of the caravan using a remote control.

How is a caravan mover powered?

The mover is linked to a 12v control box and handset which is connected to your caravans battery.

How to use a caravan mover

A caravan mover is used by a remote control handset. This handset will have either push button like the basic handset sold with our Quattro Titanium or a joystick which will allow you to easily and safely manoeuvre your caravan which is included with the Quattro Diamond.
